“CP AXTRA” Joins “Department of Highways” to Set Up 50 Service Points with Free Water, Refreshing Towels, Splashing Happiness During the Songkran Festival at Makro and Lotus’s Nationwide

11 April 2025 – CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, an operator of Asia’s leading wholesaler and retailer “Makro” and “Lotus’s”, in collaboration with the Department of Highways and local authorities, has set up 50 roadside service points nationwide to Songkran travelers. These service points provide drinking water, refreshing towels, ice cream, and waterproof pouches, giving people a chance to refresh while helping to ease travel fatigue. Located along major inbound and outbound routes from Bangkok, the service points span key provinces such as Ayutthaya, Saraburi, Chai Nat, Prachin Buri, Kanchanaburi and Nakhon Ratchasima, popular routes for those returning to their hometowns or traveling for leisure during the long holiday.

In addition, CP AXTRA, in collaboration with the Thai Red Cross Society, has set up 37 blood donation points at Makro and Lotus’s stores nationwide to help ensure a sufficient blood supply for hospitals across the country during the Songkran festival.
