Makro Takes the lead in Retail Tech, Partners with GroupM Thailand to Transform Digital Advertising for Entrepreneurs

Bangkok 11 November 2024 - Makro, a leading wholesaler under CP Axtra, has teamed up with GroupM, WPP’s media investment group and the world’s leading media investment company, to launch “Makro Retail Media Network.” Aligned with CP Axtra’s goal of moving towards ‘Retail Tech’, this innovative omni-channel marketing platform offers diverse advertising and public relations opportunities within Makro branches as well as their online platform “Makro PRO”, enabling marketers to connect more effectively with entrepreneurs through highly targeted advertising solutions.

This partnership brings together two industry leaders in retail and marketing technology. GroupM anticipates a 30% increase in Thailand’s in-store advertising media budgets from 2020 to the present, potentially reaching 2 billion Baht, with steady growth projected to continue.
