Translation May 14, 2009 Subject : To inform the Board of Directors' Resolution No.2/2009 To : Director and Manager Stock Exchange of Thailand The Board of Directors' Meeting of Siam Makro Public Company Limited No. 2/2009 held on May 14, 2009 has approved the additional investment in Siam Food Services Limited ("Siam Food") in the amount of Baht 35 million. Siam Food is the Company's subsidiary whose 99.99% shares are held by the Company and is required to invest in the computer system including expansion of various types of imported goods. Thus, it is necessary to increase working capital of Siam Food. Consequently the registered capital of Siam Food will be Baht 45 million and the Company's shareholding proportion in Siam Food will be the same being 99.99%. Please be informed accordingly.
