Submission of F/S for Q1/2006

Translation 9 May 2006 Subject : Submission of Financial Statements for the quarter 1/2006 To : Director and Manager Stock Exchange of Thailand Enclosed please find the consolidated Financial Statements of Siam Makro Public Company Limited for the first quarter ended March 31, 2006 which have been reviewed by the Company's auditor. For the first quarter of 2006, the Company's consolidated sales were Baht 13,751 million, increased by 8.7% from the same period last year mainly contributed by high growth in fresh food and dry food. During the first quarter of 2006, we have remodeled and successfully reopened Makro store 20 (Surin), resulted in completion of 20 remodeled stores out of 21 stores in our strategic plan. Net profit after tax was Baht 258 million which increased Baht 2 million over the same period last year. Please be informed accordingly.
