Interim Dividend Declaration

Translation August 6, 2010 Subject : To inform the Board of Directors' resolutions No. 3/2010 To : Director and President The Stock Exchange of Thailand The Board of Directors' Meeting of Siam Makro Public Company Limited No. 3/2010 held on August 6, 2010 made the following resolutions on important matters: - 1. The meeting unanimously resolved to approve the Company to declare the interim dividend from the net profit after tax during 1 January 2010 through 30 June 2010 to all shareholders of the Company at Baht 2 per share, totaling Baht 480,000,000 for the total number of 240,000,000 shares without appropriating an additional legal reserve as the amount of the Company's legal reserve is already in compliance with the law. The payment of dividend will be made on September 3, 2010. 2. The meeting unanimously resolved to close the registry of shareholders for share transfer on August 23, 2010 to determine the shareholders' right to receive the payment of interim dividend.
