Amendment the time of closing the registry of shareholders

Translation 10 November 2008 Subject : To inform the amendment to the time of closing of registry of the shareholders To: : Director and President The Stock Exchange of Thailand With reference to Clause 2 of the notification of Siam Makro Public Company Limited notifying that the Board of Directors' Meeting No. 7/2008 held on 7 November 2008 unanimously resolved to close the registry of the shareholders for share transfer as of 12.00 hours on 24 November 2008 to determine the shareholders' right to receive the payment of 2nd interim dividend, the Company hereby amends such notification by deleting the phrase "as of 12.00 hours". Therefore, the closing of registry of the shareholders of the Company will be on 24 November 2008. Please be informed accordingly.
