Interim Dividend Declaration

Translation November 7, 2008 Subject : To inform the Board of Directors' resolution No. 7/2008 To : Director and President The Stock Exchange of Thailand The Board of Directors' Meeting of Siam Makro Public Company Limited No. 7/2008 held on November 7, 2008 made the following resolutions: - 1. The meeting unanimously resolved to approve the Company to declare the 2nd interim dividend from the net profit after tax during 1 January 2008 through 30 September 2008 to all shareholders of the Company at Baht 1 per share, totalling Baht 240,000,000 for the total number of 240,000,000 shares without appropriating an additional legal reserve as the amount of the Company's legal reserve is already in compliance with the law. This will result to total interim dividend payment for the year 2008 of Baht 960,000,000 (Baht 4 per share). The payment of dividend will be made on December 4, 2008. 2. The meeting unanimously resolved to close the registry of shareholders for share transfer as of 12.00 hours on November 24, 2008 to determine the shareholders right to receive the payment of 2nd interim dividend.
