REPORTS UTILISATION OF FUND MOBILISED IN CAPITAL INCRE

Siam Makro Plc. (MAKRO) reported on its utilisation of the fund mobilised from offering of 19,825,700 new shares issued according to resolutions made at the extraordinary shareholders' meeting no. 1/1996 held on August 15, 1996. MAKRO said it received proceeds of Bt1,965 million from the share offering (after expenses). In a previous report made, the company spent an amount of Bt1,047 million in projects. The balance of proceeds stood at Bt918 million.
