ANNOUNCE OFFERING PRICE OF SHARES ALLOCATED TO MAKRO H

Siam Makro Plc. (MAKRO) announced offering price of shares allocated to Makro Holding NV and general public. MAKRO has previously reported on resolutions made at its extraordinary shareholders' meeting no. 1/1996 on August 15, 1996 concerning allocation of previously-unalloted 19,825,700 new shares. At the meeting, an amount of 4,137,700 shares was resolved for offering to Makro Holding NV while another amount of 15,688,000 shares would be for offering to general public. The details were as seen in SET DAILY dated July 10, 1996. Now, MAKRO announced the offering price of the above mentioned shares at Bt102 apiece. The company will announce the details about the offering period after the offering is approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
